About Me
I grew up and lived in Southern California for most of my life and have always had a passion for the sciences. After I graduated High School, I attended UC Davis where I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Physics (with emphasis in Astrophysics) and a minor in History.
I began working with computers when I was in the 7th grade and have since been working on the Internet and experimenting with website coding and many other programming languages including C++ (which is what most of the software you own is programmed with) and javascript (which allows user interaction on websites).
Other interests of mine include free diving (especially in the kelp beds off Laguna Beach), reading, and the medical applications of physics. I also donate my computer's idle processing time to various BOINC projects. Currently my computer is:
- Performing computations for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC@Home) a particle accelerator in Switzerland.
- Searching for a model that best describes our universe and agrees with our observations. (Cosmology@Home).
- Plotting the orbital path of Near Earth Objects (NEO's) Orbit@Home.
- Creating a model of the Milky Way Galaxy (MilkyWay@Home).
